Teaching and advocating for liberation and transformation

Work with Me

On Stage Speaking
If you need someone to give it to you straight, I’m your speaker on topics such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In other words, I give insight on social justice issues that help individuals think through what it means to use DEI strategies personally and professionally in the workplace, within organizations, in schools, and the community.

I offer 30-minute or 60-minute presentations that are designed to give the audience:

  • A deeper understanding of how DEI work improves overall performance of individuals and groups
  • Ways to assess current DEI practices
  • Practical strategies for immediate use.

Private Session
You’ve heard all the talk about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), but you’re just not sure where you stand or even if you understand DEI and what it means for you. Let’s talk. Veda Pendleton & Company (VPC) will walk you through the language of DEI and show you how DEI work can make your life better as a citizen of the world.

Leadership DEI Development
Leadership determines the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) culture in many organizations. Leaders often need guidance when assessing and planning DEI strategies. Whether you’re hosting an executive leadership team planning session, or a large-scale leadership summit, Veda Pendleton & Company (VP&C) will tailor messages that empower you and your organization to move forward with DEI initiatives.

Equity is often a touchy subject that sometimes ignites resentment and strikes fear in the hearts of listeners. After assessing DEI practices within your group/organization, VP&C will guide you through developing strategies, policies, and practices that create an atmosphere of genuine respect and acceptance, thereby creating a sense of belonging in all members.

Do you need help recruiting and retaining diverse employees? I offer solutions for engaging and retaining diverse individuals in ways that serve to positively impact your bottom line. These solutions will endear your employees to your organization and change the culture of your organization.

I don’t know where I would be today if you hadn’t shown me that education and success were available to me.”

So much of who I am as an educator and what I believe about excellence is because of you.”
